m!M at the NVC training in Poland

NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro participated in the training, which was organized within the Erasmus + project: “Non – Violent Communication: 3C Connection – compassion – contact” in Poland. The training was held from October 21st till October 27th, 2021 in Krynica Zdroj.

The main organizer of the training is the NGO Instyt Innowacji, represented by Lukasz Teofilak and Paulina Drzal. The training was attended by 20 participants from 11 countries: Montenegro, Jordan, Northern Macedonia, Greece, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Cyprus, Georgia, Ukraine, as well as participants from the host country. On the first day of the training, the participants were introduced to the basic needs and communication strategies. By reflecting, they could notice which ways of communication they often use, but also the people around them. Marta, a certified NVC communication trainer, contributed to this by giving exercises that help self-reflection. On the second day of the training, the participants got acquainted with emotions, how emotions and human needs are connected and how they can recognize their own and other people’s emotions during communication. On the third day of the training, the participants studied the four basic steps that enable NVC communication, as well as the mistakes that often occur during its implementation. The fourth day was reserved for the condemnations that people give to themselves and others. During the exercises, the participants were able to notice what they resent about themselves, what their fears are and what is actually behind the judgments they give themselves, or how to find a way to resolve conflict situations with other people in real life. During the fifth day of training, there was talk about the emotion of anger. What is the emotion of anger, what are the ways it can be expressed and what is actually behind that emotion? The sixth day of the training is dedicated to everything that the participants mourn. It was pointed out that grief is healthy and that the reasons are unique for all people.

On the last, seventh day, participants asked questions about NVC communication to a certified trainer and met with the organizers of Erasmus + programs, Youthpass certification and youth mobility.
