m!M attended a conference of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and German organization “Help”

The representative of the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro attended the conference on the occasion of the beginning of the project “Social inclusion of Roma men and women and Egyptians with the mediation of social inclusion associates”, organized by the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and the German organization “Help”.

The head of the Department for European Integration, Tatjana Anđelić, the regional coordinator Klaus Mock, the project coordinator Diana Anđelić and the associate for social inclusion in the field of employment Dijamant Pajazitaj spoke at the conference.

“The project will further contribute to the social inclusion of the Roma and Egyptian communities in Montenegro through a comprehensive approach that includes expanding the network of qualified associates and will enable training and work of associates in social inclusion of Roma men and women in the health, employment and social protection sectors in 11 municipalities in Montenegro: Bar, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Budva, Cetinje, Herceg Novi, Nikšić, Pljevlja, Podgorica, Tivat and Ulcinj”, head of the Department for European Integration, Tatjana Anđelić, pointed out.

Klaus Mock spoke briefly about the “Help” organization and the project that will be implemented, while the project coordinator Dijana Anđelić gave a presentation on the specific goals and activities of the project.

“After the conducted licensed training, the project will enable the work of at least 40 associates in the social inclusion of Roma and Egyptians in health centers and hospitals, offices of the Employment Agency of Montenegro, Labor Offices and centers for social work,” said Diana Anđelić.

Diamond Pajazitaj, who works as a social security mediator at Help, spoke about his beginnings and experiences during his work.

“On paper it says that I am a mediator for social protection, but I do everything, from going to the employment office to the hospital, health centers, schools and all other types of services where our help is sought. We strive to help everyone and the RE population and others. There have been different situations when people turn to us asking for help and we help everyone. I feel good when I help someone “, said Dijamant Pajazitaj.

The project, worth a total of 500,382.05 euros, is funded by the European Union, with a contribution from the Government of Montenegro, and the German organization “Help”.
