GO Mladiinfo Montenegro (m! M) organized a traditional campaign of voluntary blood donation on the occasion of the eighth birthday at the Blood Transfusion Institute of Montenegro. The members and volunteers of the organization, as well as the citizens, responded and the representative of the Youth Office of the City of Belgrade, Jasna Rakočević, joined the action.
A liquid that means living donated a total of a dozen people, including voluntary donors but also those who give blood for the first time. “More people were tested, and ten of them donated blood, and we are particularly satisfied because many of them do this first the road. We also had a volunteer who celebrates his birthday today, which is why we are very happy because blood is the best gift you can give to someone, and therefore he has extended some of his life to someone’s birthday, “said Milica Žugić, president of the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro, added that they donate blood as part of a traditional birthday campaign in order to promote voluntary giving and motivate others, and especially young people to decide for themselves on this humane gesture. “On March 30th, we are celebrating eight years and on that occasion we organize a small celebration in the University sports- Cultural Center, from 16 to 19 hours. On that occasion, we will briefly introduce all the guests with our work, and we prepared a music program and, of course, a cake donated by “Anin medeni kutak” to this year, “said Žugić. In the past eight years m! M organized youth exchanges, seminars, trainings – courses, trainings and workshops, panel discussions.
Over 100 young people have been sent through the organization for training in the country and abroad. In addition to informing and educating, the goal is to stimulate youth activism and the awareness of society on various topics. The main goal of the organization is to improve the position of youth, informing, promoting volunteerism and active participation in society, and raising the awareness of the society about issues and problems that concern young people. M! M aims to provide young people with the conditions for fulfilling their goals and needs, as well as the manifestation of talents and opportunities, all for the benefit of the entire society. The NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro was established in 2011 with the aim of informing, educating and encouraging the active participation of young people.
