The representative of the Mladiinfo Montenegro organization takes part at the conference named Multiple Facets of Solidarity held from 11 September to 13 September 2018 in Kluz – Napoca, Romania.
The goal of the conference was to explore relations between multiple aspects of solidarity with the latest trends such as volunteering, active participation, and engagement. The purpose of this gathering is exploring various ways for the expression of solidarity, effects of common actions, and impact the volunteering may have both individually and collectively. Over 65 students had an opportunity to hear inspiring speeches, calls for the action, statements, and debates, participate interactively, and contribute to enhancing the level of volunteering and activism. There was also talk about the European Solidarity Corpus and EU Aid Volunteers programs at the conference.
Besides the conference, representatives of partner organizations on the project visited Tara children center, and Fire Volunteer Centre, where they had an opportunity to hear concrete examples of the volunteering, and representation of young people in the participation in volunteering actions and camps. After this conference, partner organizations shall work on the exploration that will be held in their local communities, and the subject of exploration is the volunteering.
