Representatives of the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro participated in the kick-off meeting held in Koper, Slovenia, on February 12, 2024, as part of the Nurture – Nurturing Can Be a Job project, supported by the Erasmus Plus program.
The Nurture project aims to enhance the capacities of partner organizations and targeted youth organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Albania by empowering young people to find their career paths and promoting the NGO sector as an employer. The project is based on the previously tested model, “Science World Can Be a Job,” developed within the previous Social Innovators project.
As part of this project, training for national contact points is planned to take place in Montenegro, after which the participants will conduct national seminars for mentors from various NGOs. Following these trainings, career counseling for young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Montenegro will be organized. Additionally, a competition for the best project will be held, with the winners receiving funding for the implementation of their project. The project will conclude with the “Nurturing Can Be a Job” campaign and a meeting at the Dubrovnik Expo event.
