m!M organized a workshop on running a youth NGO in Nikšić

The NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro organized a workshop on running a youth NGO, on May 9, 2022, at the Youth Service in Nikšić. At the workshop, the manual “How to run a youth NGO” was presented, which was created as a result of the Erasmus+ project “SETYN: Socially Empowered and Transparent Youth Network”, which Mladiinfo Montenegro implements with partners.

During the presentation of the manual, participants were introduced to its content, purpose, target group, vision, mission, as well as many other elements of this manual. Primarily, the participants had the opportunity to become better acquainted with the SETYN project.

The main goal of the “SETYN” project is to promote good management of youth non-governmental organizations in the region of the Western Balkans and the European Union, to help the development of efficient, sustainable and resilient youth organizations, as well as to increase their organizational capacities for efficient management of programs that will engage, connect and empower youth in different regions of the world.

As part of the project, a kick-off meeting was organized in Skopje, as well as organization management training and organization financial management training in Ulcinj. The manual “How to run a youth NGO” was also created, which is intended for existing and new organizations that have problems or need to improve their structure, management and activities: project writing, SWOT analysis, fundraising and calls for proposals. All workshop participants received a copy of this manual.
