m!M realized a three-day training for business plans

The NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro (m!M) organized a training “Development of business plans” as part of the project “Through business to equality”, which was supported by the Ministry of human and minority rights. The training was held from September 11 to 14, 2020 at the Sun Village Hotel in Herceg Novi. The lecturer at the training was Bojana Kalezic.

On the first day of the training, the focus was on the non-financial part of the business plan. After the initial introduction, the training participants had the task to clearly define their wishes, goals and ways to achieve them. After they put their ideas on paper, a detailed elaboration of the business plan started, which was the main focus in the continuation of the training. The study of competition, markets, customers and suppliers, target groups and motivation were some of the elaborated topics. Participants were divided into several groups with the aim of creating a “service table” for their businesses.

Part of the training was dedicated to the financial part of the business plan according to the Investment development fund (IRF) methodology. The aim was to meet the participants with the financial parts of the business plan that should be used in practice. Topics were income and expenses, grace period, credit lines, investments, depreciation and many others. Through group work, participants had the opportunity to adopt and apply knowledge from all areas within the creation of a business plan.

The participants in the training were women who have started their business already or want to start. The training was also attended by the project team, as well as volunteers from the organization.
