NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro organized the training in cooperation with non-governmental organizations from Albania, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It organized training for capacity building of NGO organizations by presenting the opportunities that young people have through engagement in them. The training was attended by young people from organizations who will implement ideas, methodologies and knowledge in their organizations and communities.

The training consisted of a theoretical and practical part and through all the exercises the participants had the opportunity to apply career counseling methodologies, learn how to be the best mentors and how to transfer knowledge. The trainers were Aljaš Zupan and Arnela Abdić, from Slovenia, who introduced everyone to the topic in a creative way and encouraged everyone present to leave the training session satisfied and ready to continue the work.

One of the main results of the project will be the establishment of National Support Points in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Montenegro, which will be the main actors in building the capacity of NGOs and contribute to the career development of young people. National support points will organize seminars and workshops for young people and representatives of NGOs, provide career counseling and support in the implementation of internships in which 90 young people (54 of whom will be young people with fewer opportunities) will have their first work experience in the NGO sector and thus acquiring the skills and competences necessary for participation in the labor market. The main activities for project promotion and dissemination of results will be the “Nurturing the world can be a job” Campaign.

Through the campaign, the general public will be informed about the work of the National Support Points, and young people will be invited and encouraged to apply for internships. The aim of the campaign will be to raise awareness that NGOs are important potential employers for young people.
