Regional APP challenge held in M:tel Digital factory

Today, in M:tel digital factory have gathered the most brightest high school students in region. Namely, Company M:tel Montenegro, Telekom Srbija and M:tel Bosnia and Herzegovina have organized finale of regional competition, regional app challenge and today jury had a chance to see all presentations and applications that have made to the final and to announce winner.

Firstly, director of the company M:tel Montenegro, Vladimir Lučić addressed to the media and all attendants. He said that this competition has a big significance for region and that M:tel Montenegro just last year entered as a member of organization, and this year is a host. He added that he is impressed more and more every year by achievements of young people from region and that this year they made an exception because of good ideas and creativity, it is decided that there will three winners and will go to on a fare of IT achievements in Berlin, instead of one, as planned. He praised all the competitors and emphasized that more and more young people should be working on jobs of future, like application development and internet services. At the end he asked media to follow these young people, who will be new heroes of the generations yet to come.

After Lučić, Predrag Ćulibrk, director of Telekom Srbija, adressed to attendants. At the beginning of speech he thanked to colleagues from Podgorica on very good organization. Also he thanked to all young people, programmers, leaders of the fourth world revolution on participation and creative ideas that took part of competition, as well as to the winners on devotion and entrepreneurship. He added that Telekom Srbija started whole program and as a society responsible company, with its members, have a goal to encourage development and entrepreneurship, that young people should stay in their countries and to contribute to better life environment.

At the end awards had been given to the most successful ones. Award for most innovative application won students from high school “Svetozar Marković” from Niš. Three applications took first place, and all of them will go to the fare of informatical achievements in Berlin and those are: application „Zvučna radionica“ which was made by students from Banja Luka gymnasium, then application „Đe je bus“ which was made by students from electro technical high school „Vaso Aligrudić“ from Podgorica and application „Kolektor“ which is made by students from gymnasium of Senta.
