At the workshop, the Career Center Step Up was presented, ie the program #OMG. Career Center Step Up aims to provide secondary school students, secondary school graduates and gymnasium students with professional guidance and finding their career paths. Career Center Step Up offers a specific #OMG Program through which high school students pass and as a result get their first Career Development Plan that they can carry out independently or with the further support of experts. During this program, participants will have the opportunity to pass testing, individual career counseling and drafting their action plan in order to best prepare for one of the most important decisions: what after high school?
Students were presented with two directions within this program. “Who am I” is the first program at the end of which participants receive a professional confirmation of the breadth of their knowledge, interests, values and preferences that will be important for the choice of faculty, choice of profession, job and career. This program includes 4 meetings per hour in terms of arrangement as well as for parents the possibility of open doors is available so-called. one-time counseling. At the end of the program, participants will receive their first Career Action Plan and a short report based on testing and interviewed.
The second program presented to students is “Face your Career”, in which participants have the opportunity to: get to know their professional interests, motives, values that will be important for the choice of education, work and career; Through experience, they study educational and business opportunities in front of them; understand what kind of changes bring new steps in education and careers, what it means to go through a career transition; understand decision styles and learn to apply style and strategy to an adequate career choice. The program lasts for six days, trainees pass six different workshops and at the end get a prepared action plan as well as a certificate of participation.
The interactive workshop was attended by thirty students of the third and fourth grade who showed their interest and readiness to decide for their future careers. In addition to this program, secondary school students presented the work of the organization Mladiinfo Montenegro, as well as the opportunities offered to them within the organization as well as in the support of the volunteer service.
