NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro (m!M) has organized the third workshop within “Through business to equality“ project. It is funded by the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights. The workshop called “The presentation and selling of a product/service” was held in the hotel Yugoslavia in Niksic, on the 3rd and 4th of July 2020. Target group in this project are 15 women from Niksic, Podgorica and Berane.
The instructor of the third workshop was Bojana Kalezic, the representative of Institute for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development.
In the introduction, the participants have presented themselves and their business ideas, but also processed them more specifically.
In the first part of the workshop, the women have primarily been met with successful presentation of service and then, in practical part, they got a task to present own product in the best way, why possibly their product would get attention of customers, what distinguishes them from competition etc.
During the lecture, the participants have learned about entrepreneurship, regarding what every entrepreneur should own.
“In order to be an entrepreneur, first of all you have to know what you are doing, where you wish to work and with whom. If you want to accomplish that, you need to know how to start, who your target group is, who you are going to sell your product/service to, the way to gain necessary information, as well as how big earnings can be.”, Kalezic said.
In the second part of the workshop, the role of seller in selling of product/service has been processed and transferred knowledge has been applied through practical work.
The analysis of buyer and widening of the buyers net were covered in the lecture.
Thanks to the practical work, the participants had the opportunity to introduce certain product in different ways.
Within practical work, selling of the product/service to customer has been covered too.
At the end of the working day, the workshop was completed with SWOT analysis, where every participant separately did analysis of her product and highlighted through the presentation strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of it.
“Be yourself! Do not cheat on your customers just to sell your product. It is very important to be real and honest to yourself and to the possibilities of your company or market where you want to work.”, Kalezic stated to the future entrepreneurs.
