m!M at the Final Conference of the “Visual Thinking 4 Youth” Project

Representatives of the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro participated in the final meeting of the “Visual Thinking 4 Youth” project, held on November 18, 2024, in Skopje, North Macedonia. The project is supported by the Erasmus+ program.

The “Visual Thinking 4 Youth” project aims to promote the social inclusion of dyslexic youth aged 13 to 19 through visual thinking, which involves conveying and presenting ideas using simple and easily recognizable images.

This method seeks to enhance the learning process for students by helping them better understand ideas, define goals, identify problems, and generate new concepts through the use of visual aids. It is particularly effective for individuals with cognitive specificities, such as dyslexia.

The project began with an initial training in Podgorica, focusing on dyslexia and visual thinking, followed by a second training in Sarajevo that built upon these topics. Most participants had prior knowledge of dyslexia and visual thinking, which they applied to creating content for a manual. The third training session, held in Tirana, focused on developing a video course.

The final activity of the project was the concluding meeting in Skopje, where the project results were presented. During the meeting, partners also shared the local activities they had organized in their respective countries and presented feedback from project participants.
