The representative of the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro held a consultative meeting with young researchers, due to the work on research stories, which is being realized under the project “Raise your voice against irregularities”, on November 30, 2020 at the Hotel Yugoslavia, Nikšić.
The topics of the meeting were research stories dealt with by the project participants.
The project was supported by the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime through the Resilience Fund. The main goal of the project is to reduce crime levels in the municipality of Nikšić.
The meeting was attended by all project participants, who explained in more detail the concept and other activities in the field of research stories.
The specific objectives of the project are:
– Raising the knowledge of 6 young journalists about investigative journalism;
– Motivating local citizens to report corruption and crime in Nikšić;
– Raising awareness of irregularities in the functioning of local institutions and organizations in Nikšić.
The project started with the realization on October 1, 2020, while the completion is planned for the end of the year.
