On December 12, 2024, the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro presented the project “Visual Thinking 4 Youth” at the Radomir Mitrović Elementary School in Berane. The project aims to promote the social inclusion of young people with dyslexia, aged 13 to 19, through visual thinking, which involves conveying and presenting ideas using simple and easily recognizable images.
Students had the opportunity to hear about the experiences of young participants who attended the training in Tirana, where they created a video course on visual thinking methods that can assist individuals with dyslexia. They also learned about dyslexia in general and the challenges faced by those living with it.
Through this project, a significant number of young people have gained a deeper understanding of this topic during previous training sessions held in Podgorica, Sarajevo, and Tirana. Now, they are sharing that knowledge with others through local workshops like this one.
