I spent three days in Tirana attending a training dedicated to dyslexia, which turned out to be one of the most interesting and educational experiences of my life. During this program, I had the opportunity to meet people from different countries and cultures, many of whom shared their unique experiences and insights about the challenges and opportunities related to dyslexia. The diverse perspectives enriched the training, making it even more meaningful.
Through the workshops, I learned how to recognize the challenges faced by individuals with dyslexia and concrete ways to make their daily lives easier. I focused particularly on strategies that support their inclusion in society, the education system, and the workplace. Understanding that dyslexia is not an insurmountable obstacle inspired me to work on raising awareness about this condition. In my free time, I took the opportunity to explore Tirana.
This training was not only a chance for personal development but also an opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas that I can apply in my work. I believe that the knowledge I gained will help me contribute to the inclusion of individuals with dyslexia in society and become a better leader in my community. This journey reminded me of the importance of tolerance, understanding, and collective efforts to create a world where everyone has equal opportunities.
The training was organised through the Erasmus plus project “Visual Thinking 4 Youth”.
