From September 9 to 12, 2024, I participated in a training in Tirana, Albania, as part of the Erasmus+ project “VT4Y – Visual Thinking 4 Youth.” The training aimed to develop learning methodologies for individuals with dyslexia, using visual thinking as a tool to facilitate learning.

The training brought together young people from several countries, including Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Romania, Albania, and Montenegro. During the program, we worked on creating video content that incorporated various learning approaches for individuals with dyslexia. The focus was on conveying complex ideas through simple and easily recognizable images and graphics.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Tirana, especially at Skanderbeg Square—it felt like the heartbeat of the city, always vibrant and full of life. The Blloku area was another favorite, with its colorful cafes and restaurants, making it the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings. I also loved walking in the Grand Park, especially around the lake, which provided a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets. These places truly made my time in Tirana special.

This training gave me a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with dyslexia and the importance of using visual methods in education.
