From April 18 to 22, I had the opportunity to participate in the “Visual Thinking 4 Youth” project organized by the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro in Podgorica. In addition to our country, participants from Italy, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia also took part.
As part of this program, we attended training on dyslexia and visual thinking. I gained new knowledge in these areas because, at the start, I only knew what dyslexia was and nothing more. I learned at what age it is possible to recognize that a child has dyslexia, how to support them, and what tasks they excel at.
In addition to gaining knowledge, I also met new friends from Italy, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. All the people who participated in the camp were wonderful individuals.
What I will fondly remember are the tours around Podgorica and Lake Skadar. These tours allowed us to learn more about our capital city and its history. We also had the chance to visit the beautiful Lake Skadar and the stunning town of Virpazar.
I am particularly glad that I learned something about other cultures and even a bit of the Albanian language. I am grateful for the new experiences I gained through this project. It was a fantastic opportunity to see what life is like in other countries.
Finally, I want to thank the organizers of this project for their excellent organization. A special thanks goes to the main coordinator for being so accommodating, as well as to everyone involved in organizing this wonderful event.
