Thanks to Mladiinfo Montenegro, I participated in the “Visual Thinking 4 Youth” training in Tirana from September 9 to 12, 2024, which was an unforgettable experience. Through this training, we had the opportunity to deepen our understanding of dyslexia—a specific learning difficulty that affects reading and writing abilities. The training was interactive, with a particular focus on how to make the learning process easier for people with dyslexia.

One of the key takeaways was the importance of a visual approach, using images, symbols, and video materials to facilitate learning. During the workshops, we worked on creating videos tailored for individuals with dyslexia. These videos aim to make the learning process more accessible by using simple language and clear visual representations. Through these activities, I realized how important it is to understand the specific needs of individuals and how visual tools can significantly enhance their educational experience.

I had the chance to work in teams with people from various countries, including Albania, North Macedonia, Italy, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Together, we exchanged ideas on how to improve inclusion in education.
