Thanks to the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro, I had the privilege to participate in a training on dyslexia as part of the “Visual Thinking 4 Youth” project and, along with other participants, represent Montenegro in Tirana from September 9 to 12, 2024.

This training brought together young people from the region and European Union countries. In Tirana, the main topic was dyslexia—how to adapt to individuals with dyslexia, facilitate their communication, and prevent the marginalization of their challenges. This experience undoubtedly enriched all of us with knowledge about dyslexia and the people who face it. Additionally, we formed new connections, built friendships, and shattered many prejudices.

The experience was wonderful, and I will definitely apply again. For those who haven’t yet participated, I highly recommend seizing such an opportunity—you won’t regret it. Not only will you expand your knowledge, but you will also broaden your horizons and challenge prejudices about others and those who are different. You’ll come to appreciate the true richness of pluralism, diverse cultures, ways of thinking, and perspectives.

I hope that as many people as possible, especially young individuals, will recognize the value of these projects and participate more actively, as is the case in the region, to represent their country in the best possible way.
