Thanks to Mladiinfo Montenegro, I participated in the “Visual Thinking 4 Youth” training held in Tirana from September 9 to 12, 2024. The program focused on dyslexia—a challenge that affects reading and writing skills—while also introducing innovative methods to support individuals facing these difficulties.
One aspect of the training that particularly captured my interest was the application of a visual approach in education. I learned how images, symbols, and video materials can make the learning process more intuitive and accessible. We had the opportunity to engage in practical activities, creating video content tailored to individuals with dyslexia. We made an effort to use simple language and clear visuals to ensure the materials were as user-friendly as possible.
Collaboration with participants from various countries was especially significant. Together, we exchanged ideas on how to make education more inclusive for everyone.
This training was not only an opportunity to acquire new knowledge but also to develop awareness of the importance of empathy and adaptability in daily work. I believe that visual thinking is one of the key steps toward a more inclusive educational system.
