m! M announces a call for applications for training course entitled “Increasing Quality of Activities Targeting Rural Youth”, which will be held in Leskovac, Serbia, from 14 to 22 July 2019.

DESCRIPTION
The key question in the framework of the project “Increasing the quality of activities aimed at young people from rural areas” is the lack of opportunities for personal and professional development of young people (16 – 30 years) who come from rural areas of the partner countries. Small towns, villages or remote areas in most cases do not provide opportunities for young people. They lack access to quality activities, services or information about free time at the local, regional, national or international projects open to young people. In most cases, only the young people who choose to study at a university in major cities or in major cities to learn about the possibilities offered by youth organizations, Youth Councils, Parliament, the Council of Europe or the Erasmus + program.
Young passivity, lack of self-confidence and initiative are just some of the consequences of challenges and obstacles faced by young people in rural areas.
Training will have several parts. The first part will allow participants to share and reflect on the process of applying lessons learned from the study visit in their environment. In this case, participants will identify possible obstacles and think about the ideas how to overcome them. Other up will focus on the development of competencies of participants to provide quality activities aimed at rural youth. Participants will participate in discussions, debates, simulations, role-playing. Afterwards, participants will focus on the development of its capacity to involve the community in its work with rural youth and to carry out activities that lead to changing community.
The last part of the training will focus on the planning of capacity-building activities.

TERMS
This call is open for:
• youth workers, trainers, educators who work and communicate directly with young people in order to amplify the spread of new experiences and skills in their communities;
• supported by organizations that send them in the implementation of future activities on the basis of the experience gained during the visit;
• motivated to participate in this mobility and be personally interested in the topic of the project;
• motivated to implement the experience gained in the course of training in their communities;
• motivated to build and support international partnerships that will be created during mobility for future projects Erasmus +;
• that are OLDER than 18 years.
