On November 27, 2020, the NGO “Mladiinfo Montenegro” held an online presentation on the FLEX program.
Alumni of the FLEX program Šabotić Lejla, Milatović Nina and Ademagić Nermin spoke about their experience from the exchange in America.
They also presented the application criteria, as well as all the benefits that the scholarship offers.
Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and learn something new about the American education system, life abroad, and the process of adjusting to life in the new environment. FLEX alumni shared tips with participants on how to make the most of the year spent in America, given that it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
In the second part of the presentation, there was talk about the necessary documents for applications to foreign faculties, such as a certificate guaranteeing knowledge of a foreign language, student visa, confirmation of previous grades, motivation letter, CV and letter of recommendation.
Lejla also spoke a bit more about the possibilities for obtaining university and national scholarships, such as UWC, HMC projects, GLOBAL UGRAD, bilateral scholarships from Slovenia and others.
Nina and Nermin shared their experience from applying for an HMC scholarship and a scholarship from the University of Hamburg.
