The NGO “Mladiinfo Montenegro” organizes street basketball tournament at “Braća Ribar” elementary school courtyard, on 22nd March 2020, in Nikšić. The first game will start at 11 a.m. We invite everybody to enjoy in good basketball and music.
The tournament will be organized in two formats (may be the subject of change, depending on the number of registered participants):
1. Basketball program for teen division (ages 14-18)
2. Basketball program for adult division (ages 18 and up)
The rules of the game are simple:
-Each team shall consist of four players (3 players on the court and 1 substitute)
-The first team to score 21 points or more wins the game if it happens before the end of regular playing time. If the score is tied at the end of playing time, an extra three-minute overtime period will be played.
-If teams are still tied after head-to-head confrontation, the one with the highest seeding wins the tie-breaker.
-Foul shot counts 1 point and a field goal counts 2 points.
The awards are reserved for the first three winners, as well as for the best player of the tournament.
