PVN organized an international training for trainers and facilitators ”(t)Error Violence: Role of Gender and You(th)”. The training brought together representatives of NGOs from Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Turkey and Greece.
The main topic of the project was understanding and analyzing the role of young people in preventing extremism and violence as well as how radicalization affects women. The training covered various topics: violence and extremism, regional cooperation, volunteering, the position of youth, minority groups, inclusion etc. These topics were worked through a large number of workshops, discussions, presentations, as well as well-designed games, each with its own goal and message. Through these informal learning methods, participants had the opportunity to practice public speaking, but also active listening.
In order to get better acquainted with other cultures, an intercultural evening was held where participants presented the countries they come from. They presented national products, food, drinks, music and dance.
At the end of the training, everyone received certificates and planned future activities. An online campaign is planned to be run by PVN. Also, all participants will hold three workshops in their countries where they will present what they learned in this training and pass on the acquired knowledge to others.
