NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro held a workshop on 10.02.2018. in the Youth Center in Podgorica, titled “How to Write a CV”.
The workshop was intended to help all interested individuals at first place to high school students to learn how to write a good CV in a quick and efficient way. It was attended by fifteen high school students, and the workshop was hosted by the president of the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro, Milica Zugic.
“CV is an abbreviation for the Latin term Curriculum, which means a flow, and the term Vitae – that is, life, so the meaning is biography. Biography is an official, written form of personal promotion, “said Zugic.
She explained that the CV should be simple, short, and concise. High school students could learn how to stick out from the mass, or how the CV should actually look like, which information should be included.
They also got practical tips on how to write a good biography. The workshop also included Europass – a European form for CV writing.
The workshop also discussed the head youth organization – the Montenegrin Youth Forum, which was presented by the member of the Steering Committee Kristina Pavicevic.
At that time, she presented the structure of the head organization, as well as work and future plans for the next period.
“The Montenegrin Youth Forum is working to strengthen its infrastructure and to set up healthy grounds on which to base its future work,” Pavicevic said.
At the very end of the event, Marketing Manager of the organization Mladiinfo Montenegro, Elma Selmanovic, spoke briefly about the work of the organization and invited interested high school students to join the volunteer service of m!M.
