The NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro held an online workshop “Development of emotional health”, on December 6, through the Zoom application.
The guest at the workshop, Vasilije Iritano, a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy, spoke about the basics of emotional health, as well as how important it is to take care of it. Vasilije presented different types of emotional health and stated what characterizes each type individually.
After Vasilije’s presentation, volunteers Teodora Ivanović and Nermin Ademagić addressed the audience, who in an interesting way, through play and motivational speech, contributed to the workshop and raised the awareness of all present about the importance of acquiring and preserving emotional health. They pointed out that in this day and age we live in, it is very difficult to maintain balance and talk openly about all the things that bother us.
Topics such as anxiety and depression were also mentioned at the workshop. It was said that today most young people are prone to anxiety, and that in these situations the focus should change from people to us.
At the end of the workshop, our participants, as well as the organizers themselves, shared their experiences when they were not feeling their best and the way they developed their emotional intelligence.
The conclusion of the workshop was “Sometimes it’s a little harder, but there is always a way out”.
