Collected money from humanitarian action given

Mladiinfo Montenegro representatives gave the funds collected on the humanitarian action named “Youth in action” to the single mother Selveta Bogojevic on 12 October 2018. 

Selveta Bogojevic was born in 1965 in Berane. The single mother lives as a subtenant in Konik, Podgorica with her daughter Sara, who is in fifth grade of the elementary school. Her husband died a year ago, she pays 100 euros for the rent and lives from the social assistance amounting to 104 euros. The given 151,20 euros collected by volunteers of the Mladiinfo Montenegro organization as well as 100 euros donated by the capital, the Secretariat for work, youth, and social care Selveta will use to buy woods for the winter. This action is only a part of activities within the planned events for October prepared by the Volunteering service m!M. around 30 volunteers prepared pancakes, cooked the coffee, and collected funds for the socially vulnerable family in Konik at the Independence Square. Over 200 pancakes were fried, and our residents showed their humanity, approached the donation box, and left the money. They also collected toys, books, footwear, and clothes that will also be given to endangered families in agreement with the Food Bank.

The goal of the action was to encourage young people that life consists of small, but valuable things we can share together. The healthy society we live in, and whose burden of everyday life we can share together was the cause of the action. We thank our citizens who showed their humanity, the Volunteering service of the organization, and the capital for contributing to the implementation of this activity.
