Nikola in Kazowice

Experience: Nikola Drobnjak

Thanks to NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro I had an opportunity to participate in youth exchange in in the Polish city of Katowice, from July 4 to 10, 2022.

The exchange was organized within the framework of the “Strong together – across the border” project. At this exchange, our group had the opportunity to present Montenegro in the best light, to introduce the spirit of our people to other participants, as well as to present the way young people from Montenegro think about global issues. We also used the exchange to gain new knowledge and get to know people, cultures and customs from different European countries.

We had the task of presenting our organization, and through a four-hour workshop, let the other participants know what leaders represent for us, what qualities young leaders should have, and we listed a few examples of young leaders and taking over leadership in Montenegro.

In addition to all the training activities, we also had a lot of free time, which we used to tour Katovic. We also managed to spend two days in Krakow, so this trip was an ideal combination because we visited two Polish cities, got to know their culture and customs, and returned from the training enriched with new knowledge and friendships.

I think that Erasmus projects are great opportunity for all young people who are eager to acquire new knowledge, as well as get to know new countries and cultures. I am personally very grateful to the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro for the trust shown to me to be a part of this wonderful exchange.
