Tijana Raičević was a student of the Academy of Digital Marketing, which is part of the SCROLL project implemented by the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro in cooperation with partners from Albania, Greece and Northern Macedonia. As part of the program, she spent 15 days with 23 other young people in Tetovo, northern Macedonia.
“Thanks to the organization Mladiinfo Montenegro, I got the opportunity to be part of an unforgettable project and to acquire certain knowledge and skills in the field of digital marketing. I must mention that this is my first experience on a project like the Academy of Digital Marketing. Given this fact, I went to Macedonia without any previous experience and I did not know what awaited me. Four countries participated in this project, Macedonia, Albania, Greece and Montenegro. The aim of the project was to educate young people in the field of digital marketing through non-formal and informal learning.
The first day passed in the form of mutual acquaintance through workshops on building trust, self-confidence and communication in the group, as well as through team building activities. We talked about what we expect from the project and what our individual goals are. From the second day, we actively started with lectures and assignments. The topics of the lectures were very well designed and concise. For two weeks, we heard about digital marketing, its trends, copywriting, SEO, social media marketing and the like. Thanks to the tasks and teamwork, I learned what steps are needed to create a brand, how to manage promotion channels, and how to realize a good idea. Also, the guest speakers were very successful people from the Altius digital agency. They presented their business ideas, described what the market looks like and what are the advantages and disadvantages of this business. They made an effort to show us a realistic picture of digital marketing in practice. In addition to lectures, we also had free activities. Two days were reserved for trips to Tetovo and Skopje. We had the opportunity to visit cities and visit important cultural and historical monuments. During the tour of Skopje, we also visited the company Vrabotuvanje.com, where they kindly welcomed us and showed us how their company works.
During the intercultural evenings, all participants had the opportunity to present their countries through creative and very fun content. Since we were located on a mountain, the adventure was inevitable. Hiking was a logical choice, and we also had the opportunity to try our hand at four-wheeler riding. I can freely say that we were not bored at any time and that the organizers made an effort to fill our time with various content.
In the end, I can only say that this was an unforgettable life experience for me and that I would definitely be recommended everyone to apply for projects and seminars offered by Mladiinfo. I am very grateful that I was given this opportunity and that I am now enriched with new acquaintances and additional knowledge and skills. “
