On the occasion of the International day of humanitarian actions on 8 October 2018, NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro organizes the volunteering action “Young People at Work”.
The action is designed as a part of activities of the Volunteering Service for October where m!M volunteers will show their humanity at the main square in Podgorica. Around thirty volunteers will make pancakes they will sell at a symbolic price at the Independence Square on Monday on 8 October 2018. All the money gathered in this manner will be donated to a family that needs help the most. Simultaneously with making, and selling delicacies, toys, books, footwear, clothes will be gathered and sent to families in agreement with the Food Bank. The action will last until 18h.
The goal of the humanitarian action is encouraging young people that life consists of small but valuable things we may share together, and which make one whole. The healthy society we live in, and whose burden of everyday life we can share mutually, was the cause of this activity.
Every assistance is welcome to one who needs it, thus we must be more sensitive for our fellow citizens’ problems, and we also call everyone willing to contribute and show their humanity at work.
