m!M visited Đuračić family

On December 27, the team of the NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro visited Đuračić family living in Gornje Polje, in the municipality of Nikšić, and handed them New Year’s packages made by our volunteers.

This family of seven lives in very bad conditions, the house is full of moisture, the walls are terrible, but in addition to all that, there are five minor children who need to be fed, dressed and sent to school with only 200 euros of social assitance. Two children go to school, one to preschool and two smaller children stay home with their mother. Božidarka cannot work because, as she says, someone needs to take care of the children. Children are 8, 7, 5, 3 and 1 and a half years old. The husband tries, as much as he can, to provide a better life for the family, so he does what he can (sells firewood) and tries to ensure the family’s survival. They did not turn to anyone for help, so they have the only help from social care, which is insufficient for the survival of this seven-member family. Fortunately, they got the house from his father, so they don’t have to spend money on rent.
Despite everything, the family does not take the smile off their faces day by day.
