The NGO “Mladiinfo Montenegro” is announcing a call for capacity building training called “(t)Error Violence: Role of gender and you(th)”, which will be held in Durres, from 01 to 07 September 2020. The training is intended for all young people, youth workers or activists, who want to learn how to use best practices in the field of combating violence.
Capacity building, gender equality, fight against violence
The project is supported by the European Youth Foundation (EYF) and is being implemented by PVN in Albania in co-operation with seven other partners from the Western Balkans, Greece and Turkey. The training will be based on informal learning about the tools, by an experienced team of trainers and facilitators. The project is based on four aspects, such as the concept, legal framework and situation of VERLT, understanding gender equality, acting through positive approaches (dialogue, etc.) and time for strengthening and acting (young people develop specific skills). Each participant and team must be tested for COVID-19 with Elisa test not older than 72 hours before the start of the trip. The cost of the test is borne by the organizer. Upon arrival in Durres, the invoice for the PCR test and transport must be copied in duplicate, for the purpose of refund. Participants are required to sign a statement to participate in the work of the organization voluntarily and to bear responsibility. Accommodation and food costs are fully covered. The organizer takes responsibility for the safety and hygiene of the participants, masks, detergents, gloves will be available to everyone. The training will take place at the Florida hotel.
Participants aged 18 to 30, who understand or speak English, can apply, it is desirable that participants have gained experience on the topics to be discussed in the training.
