A competition has been opened to apply for a six-month training in the ASA programme in Germany.
NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro is a partner of the non-profit organization from Germany Engagement Global, which implements the ASA programme for young people intended for those who are eager for further training, knowledge acquisition and meeting new partners from around the world. The ASA programme is offered by ENGAGEMENT GLOBAL – Service for Development Initiatives, and is implemented on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of many federal states of Germany. It’s politically independent and works on a non-profit basis. The programme lasts from April to December 2021 and consists of a series of seminars where skills in dealing with diversity, conflict resolution and application of methods in group and project work will be improved. Participants from partner countries will complete a six-month project internship as part of an international team. They will work together on concrete projects, where they spend three months in a partner institution in Germany, and the next three months in an institution in their country of residence. For the project phase in Germany, participants from the Balkans will receive 843€ per month: around 350€ in pocket money, 235€ for accommodation and 258€ for food. During the second phase of the project (in the Balkans), they will receive an average of 237€ per month. The goal of the development policy learning and capacity building program is to provide young people with the skills they need to act and shape their lives so that they can effectively take responsibility for sustainable development in various areas of society in the long run.
