NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro is starting the realization of the project “mladiinfo.me – shortcut to opportunities” on July 1. The project is financed by the Ministry of Sport with 4,500 euros.
More than 80 young people from across the country will be involved through project activities, with the focus on Podgorica, Berane, and Bar.
The general goal of the project is to increase access to quality education for the youth. Specific goals include promoting the educational mobility of young people and increasing the awareness of young people about opportunities regarding formal and informal education in the country and abroad.
In the research referred to in the Youth Strategy, data shows that 47% of young people don’t know about courses and trainings offered in non-formal education. Although different sources of information exist, the website mladiinfo.me is the only place which contains all information about seminars, workshops, training courses, conferences, trainings, volunteer practices, summer schools, scholarships, etc.
The project “mladiinfo.me – shortcut to opportunities” will last five months, during which the youth involved will receive information about educational opportunities in Montenegro and abroad. Also, the information service for the youth, which Mladiinfo Montenegro provides through mladiinfo.me, will be approved. Educational mobility of young people will be promoted through a promo campaign that will include flyers, a video and a press release. We will inform young people about educational opportunities through our website www.mladiinfo.me, by making a mobile application, as well as through three workshops in the municipalities of Berane, Bar and Podgorica. The direct target group of the project are young people from Montenegro aged 15 to 30. Expected results of the project are: raised awareness of educational youth mobility and increased awareness of youth about educational opportunities in the country and abroad.
