NGO Mladiiinfo Montenegro held a workshop on educational opportunities for the youth on October 20, 2017 in the municipality of Berane.
The workshop was realized within the project “mladiinfo.me – shortcut for opportunities” financed by the Ministry of Sports through the annual competition for financing and co-financing projects for young people.
The organization representatives presented opportunities for the youth in Medical High School “Dr Branko Zogovic” in Berane. These include scholarships, trainings, courses and events, both in the country and abroad, that are available to Montenegrin high school students.
Also, the organization’s site www.mladiinfo.me was presented as a unique site in this area where they can find all the necessary information and instructions related to scholarships, competitions, contests and volunteer programs.
High school students were also acquainted with the mobile application recently launched by m!M on the Google Play Store, which had been also created within the aforementioned project. The application “m!M opportunities for the youth” is free for all young people who want to be duly informed about the available opportunities. The app makes all opportunities for self-improvement more available, whether trainings, scholarships, various courses, volunteering, internships, employment, competitions or events.
The representatives of the m!M team, with the young people and their education as a target group, eventually invited high school students from Berane to join them and apply for some of their numerous programs and schools they inform themselves, as well as to join the volunteer program.
When it comes to programs and projects of NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro, young activists and members of the Youth Club Berane, the Youth Council of Berane and the Youth Office, also had the chance to hear more.
On the same day, having started at 2 pm, the workshop was held in the premises of the Youth Club where the project “mladiinfo.me – shortcut for opportunities” was also presented, as well as an animated video that presented the application “m!M opportunities for the youth”.
Within the workshop, the participants also talked about portal www.mladiberana.me, which has been functioning for a year and which has already raised the great interest of the citizens of Berane.
NGO Mladiinfo Montenegro will be continuously working to stimulate youth activism in Berane.
